Tara Starlet – clothes made with crystal clear consciences!
I had come across Tara Starlet’s clothes about before and loved the style. Shortly after moving to Norwich I came across them in a little boutique and then I was reading an article in a magazine about mothers and their daughters starting busineses together and Tara Starlet was one of the businesses in the article. All of these things made me think I really need to check them out and get posting about them.
Tara Starlet is a wonderful vintage inspired collection of clothes, that are made with responsible ethics. They use end of roll fabrics, not only do they help the environment by stopping the fabric going to a landfill somewhere but it also means the items made from it are going to be limited. It’s always good to be wearing something only a select few people have!! Tara Starlet often recycle items, buttons and revamp woollen jumpers and give them a new life. Not only do they do all the above, they also have their garments made locally in London, giving them a good carbon footprint.
Above is a picture from Tara Starlet’s Gallery on their website. The floral top is called the Blitz Bodice £28.00 and the blue skirt is called Side button skirt – £45.00. The dress is called Gingham Halter and is £56.00.
Tara Starlet’s prices are so reasonable and affordable it’s great.
They are a fabulously stylish label and I’m really pleased they are ethical fashion as well as vintage styled.
