Whilst browsing online I came across some lovely vegan shoes by a company called Melissa, teamed with the above items and you would get a fabulously chic look, alternatively if you fancy a more casual day time look, team the items with some Ethletic eco converse style trainers.

How the mission started!

When I started working at b-fair in July I didn’t realise quite how much of an impact the shop and its clothes would have on me.

My reason for loving the clothes is that they are ethical and fair trade; therefore they make you feel good wearing them. Not only does it make your conscience feel clear, the clothes feel good against your skin.  These are two great reasons to buy ethical clothes.

Two months down the line and it has dawned on me the only items of clothes I have bought since working in the shop, are ethical. It made me realise that, obviously my subconscious is stopping me from buying mainstream clothes.  So why not give myself a personal mission to convert my wardrobe from mainstream to ethical, starting with clothes, then bags, shoes, accessories………  then hopefully I will be well on my way to becoming a fully fledged Eco Princess!!!!!!

So my mission brief is – every new purchase of ethical clothing, I will pick an item out of my current wardrobe (like for like) and either give it to charity or take it to a clothes bank.

I will be giving you regular update on my newest purchases. Also I’ll keep you updated with any offers b-fair are having.

I’m back and ready to tell all…..

Now the time how come to tell you all about my time at London Fashion week.

Entry pass hung around my neck, free LFW bag on my shoulder, ready and rearing to go. First stop celebratory glass of bubbly. Toast to my first fashion show!

First glass of the day!!

Now for the bit I had been so excited about – The Estethica exhibition. Lizzy and I had a swift browse around to check out what was on offer.

Our first appointment was at 1pm with Article. 23. As 1 O’clock approached, we made our way to their stand to be greeted by the lovely Article.23 team. Patiently they went through the whole of their S/S10 collection in which they have some amazing items…..unfortunately you guys are going to have to wait and see what they are!!!

We then continued on and took a longer look at the stands we were most interested in.

We were hoping to chat to Beyond Skins because this season b-fair will be stocking some of their pumps. They are a vegan shoe company, using alternative material rather than leather. Whilst chatting away to the lovely ladies at the Beyond Skin’s stand, they so kindly pointed out that they were in Grazia this week and the shoes featured happen to be the pumps that we will be stocking!! How fabulous.  After finding out about all their latest collection we moved on.

We then came across some very cute handbags made in East London using vintage materials and old potato sacks.

Just as we were leaving we were caught by the Canon people who were taking instant picture to take away as a souvenir!

After what felt like 10 minutes in my mind but hours on my feet it was time to go.

Until next year!!!!!
