Firstly I’d like to say thanks for the lovely comments : )

My absence has been partly due to starting a full time college course (Art and Design) and trying to work enough to pay my rent and bills!!!!! I’ve now found a happy medium and can return to looking into more ethical issues.

I am studying art and design with the view to go onto Uni. It’s been really good so far, especially as I am hugely encouraged to continue my ethical passion in my art work. Not only looking at fashion but other things too, such as furniture, design, textiles and pretty much anything creative!! It’s great to know there are lots of other people out there with the same passion for ethical, fairtrade and organic products. I’ve come across loads of designers who work towards making their work sustainable, things like cardboard chairs, indoor gardens that generate energy and things for the little ones. I feel getting the children involved young starts them off on the right path : )
